From a wedding photography point of view, The Lismoyne Hotel is a brilliant venue in Fleet. The hotel grounds provide a lovely backdrop for relaxed couple portraits and group photos, while the interior offers some real gems. The staircase, in particular, is a standout feature — one that photographers spot instantly as a must-have location for wedding photos. It adds elegance, depth, and a real sense of occasion to images.

Even on darker, dull days (as this wedding was), the venue works exceptionally well for photography. Val & Grayam were an absolute pleasure to photograph. Having been together for many years before deciding to get married, their connection was effortless. Throughout the ceremony and the rest of the day, their fun, laughter, and genuine warmth shone through — making for natural, relaxed images that truly reflected who they are as a couple.

They were also surrounded by a lovely, supportive family, which added even more heart to the day. From emotional moments to shared laughter, it was a wedding full of authenticity and joy.
